History of Cephas Karate-Jujitsu Elite
Overview
In 1986, Cephas Karate-Jujitsu Elite was born from Karate with light Jujitsu roots. At this time, Professor Willard Cephas Sr. had five black belts ranging from 1st to 10th Dan. Having multiple black belts was not common practice and nearly unheard of at this time. The Professor expected the same from his two sons and sent Professor Soke and Kaiso out to follow in his footsteps. He wanted to build a system that incorporated the best aspects of everything we had learned and he told us to find the most effective and efficient systems out there and acquire another black belt. He wanted us to merge the good, discard the rest and bring back the best information. With this information, the three of us became the cofounders of Cephas Karate Jujitsu Elite.
Professor Soke made a promise to Professor Willard Cephas Sr. when he was a young man that he would carry on the legacy and not only train hard but train smart so that he could pass on the highest quality of education to his students.
